What to expect at an office or home visit:
The COVID-19 disinfecting checklist is followed prior to each treatment to ensure a consistent and thorough preparation for each patient. The practitioner prepares for each patient treatment by checking for any COVID-19 symptoms including taking a temperature reading, showering, donning clean scrubs and KN95 face mask, donning a clean lab coat and face shield. At the office the chair, face cradle and treatment table are cleaned with an EPA approved disinfectant for the required dwell time between each patient visit. High touch surfaces are sprayed with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol. Tools and equipment for one patient are brought into the treatment room or to the home visit. Disposable, single use items are used when ever possible. Any container that is reused, such as a sharps container, pump for cups, or small bin to hold supplies are sprayed with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol after use in the office or wiped with an EPA approved disinfectant after a home visit . Each patient has their temperature taken and is asked if they have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 10 days on the day of each treatment to ensure it is safe to continue with the treatment.
