What to expect at an office or home visit:
The COVID-19 disinfecting checklist is followed prior to each treatment to ensure a consistent and thorough preparation for each patient. The practitioner prepares for each patient treatment by checking for any COVID-19 symptoms, showering, and donning clean scrubs daily. KN95 masks are worn for immunocompromised patients and upon request. At the office the chair, face cradle and treatment table are cleaned with an EPA approved disinfectant for the required dwell time between each patient visit. High touch surfaces are wiped an EPA approved disinfectant. Tools and equipment for one patient are brought into the treatment room or to the home visit. Disposable, single use items are used whenever possible. Any container that is reused, such as a sharps container, pump for cups, or small bin to hold supplies are wiped with an EPA approved disinfectant after use.
